Director’s statement

If I were to die, I would not come back as a threatening ghost. I would probably be a lost, frightened, tormented soul, who would still be making a case that I am still alive.

Through the genre of thriller-western peppered with dark humour, I am exploring the theme of inevitability of death in mortal beings. Inspired by the Spaghetti Western genre, this western set in Korea is a "Kimchi Western".

Synopsis

Set in late 19th century Korea, in a desolate cemetery, an old Gravedigger faces a life-threatening situation when a Dead man comes back to life from inside the coffin.
